Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to enhance the hydration, elasticity, and overall quality of the skin. To minimize discomfort during the injections, a topical anesthetic or numbing cream may be applied to your hands. This is typically left on for about 15-30 minutes before the procedure begins.
A fine needle or a cannula is used to inject the skin booster into the dermal layer of the skin. The injections are strategically placed to cover the entire hand, focusing on areas where there is noticeable volume loss or skin thinning.
