Prescription-strength medical grade skincare from Obagi, formulated to work at a cellular level — not on the surface.

Why Prescription-Only
The Difference
The skincare you find in department stores hits a regulatory ceiling on how strong active ingredients can be. Medical grade skincare doesn't.
i
Prescription-strength actives — hydroquinone, retinoids, vitamin C derivatives — at concentrations that produce measurable cellular change. Over-the-counter products are capped well below these levels by regulation.
ii
Most cosmetics work on the surface. Obagi formulations are designed to penetrate to the dermis — where collagen lives, where pigment is produced, and where genuine transformation happens.
iii
Every regimen is prescribed for your specific skin and concern. Step-by-step protocols with clear sequencing, designed to work together — not a random selection of "actives" you stack and hope.
Cellular change. Not surface fixes.

Authorised Stockist · Obagi Medical
Thirty years of clinical research. Used by dermatologists in over fifty countries. Available only on prescription.
Obagi is the number one physician-dispensed skincare brand globally — developed by a board-certified dermatologist, refined over three decades, and prescribed by clinicians worldwide for transformational results.
It's not a beauty brand. It's a clinical protocol system, formulated to genuinely change skin function at a cellular level. Medical grade skincare at this clinical depth — treating photodamage, melasma, acne, and the visible signs of ageing rather than masking them.
GlowMedix Clinic is an authorised Obagi stockist. Every product we prescribe is part of a personalised protocol, dispensed only after consultation with a qualified clinician.

The Obagi Systems
Obagi isn't one product. It's a portfolio of clinically distinct systems — each formulated for a specific concern. Your prescribed regimen will draw from one or combine across several, depending on what your skin actually needs.
System 01
For: Pigmentation · Melasma · Photodamage · Anti-Ageing
The flagship Obagi protocol. Works at the deepest cellular level of any product in the range — resurfacing skin, inhibiting melanin production, and lightening pigmentation.
System 02
For: Pigmentation Maintenance · Tone · Prevention
Antioxidant Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) system. Maintains healthy skin, evens tone, and prevents future damage. The perfect bridge between active treatment and long-term maintenance.
System 03
For: Acne · Adult Acne · Body Acne
Prescription-strength benzoyl peroxide system designed to penetrate into the follicle — treating acne at its origin, not just the visible breakout. Effective for adult and persistent acne.
System 04
For: Brightening · Glow · Antioxidant Protection
High-concentration Vitamin C serums for daily antioxidant protection and brightening. Often layered with other Obagi systems or prescribed standalone for daily skin defence.

Conditions We Treat
Not surface fixes. Not temporary improvement. The Obagi range is specifically formulated for the conditions below — and after thirty years of clinical use, the evidence base is genuinely strong.
Prescribed By · Prescriber-Led
Obagi isn't sold off the shelf. It can't be — it's prescription-strength, regulated, and only legally dispensable by qualified clinicians.
At GlowMedix, your protocol is prescribed by Rabia Gilani — a registered Pharmacist Prescriber with a special interest in dermatology. She'll assess your skin, identify the actual concern (not what you think it is), and prescribe the exact products, sequence, and timing that will work for you.
If Obagi isn't right for your skin, she'll say so. If a simpler regime would serve you better, she'll tell you. The plan is built around the skin in front of her — not a price list.
The Process
How a prescribed Obagi protocol actually works — from the first conversation to maintained results.
i
30-minute clinical assessment. Skin examined under correct lighting, history reviewed, root cause identified. No-pressure conversation.
ii
Personalised regimen written — exact products, application order, timing, and combinations. Tailored to your skin and goals.
iii
Authentic Obagi products dispensed directly from the clinic. Clear written instructions, demonstrated in person before you leave.
iv
Follow-up reviews at 6 and 12 weeks. Protocol adjusted as your skin responds. Continuity care, same clinician throughout.
Pricing & Booking
Obagi product pricing varies by system and protocol. We don't list it online because we don't sell products — we prescribe protocols. The right starting point is a skin consultation, where we'll assess your skin and quote your full medical grade skincare protocol transparently.

Common Questions
Can't see your question? WhatsApp us — we reply personally.
Several Obagi products contain prescription-strength actives — including hydroquinone — that can only be legally dispensed in the UK after consultation with a qualified clinician. Anything sold without prescription is either a non-prescription tier of the range, or counterfeit.
Initial changes from 2 — 4 weeks. Significant transformation typically visible at 12 weeks. Full protocol effect builds across 24 weeks. Skin transformation is gradual and cumulative — not overnight.
Adjustment phase is normal — mild redness, dryness, or flaking can occur in the first 2 — 4 weeks as skin acclimates to active ingredients. Your prescribed regimen accounts for this. We adjust if needed at the 6-week review.
Several Obagi products are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding (including those with retinoids and hydroquinone). We will absolutely not prescribe these to pregnant or breastfeeding patients. Pregnancy-safe alternative protocols available.
Depends entirely on the system prescribed. A foundation Nu-Derm protocol typically runs higher than a maintenance C-Rx regimen. Quoted transparently at consultation — no surprises, no upsell.
Not necessarily — but Obagi works exceptionally well alongside chemical peels, microneedling, or our Skin Tox Facial protocols. We'll recommend combinations only when they'd genuinely improve your outcome.
